- Payment and transaction information. Payment card information is processed by our third-party payment providers and is not stored by Idle Hand as a full payment card number.

- Notification preferences and SMS consent preferences.
- Information you voluntarily provide through forms, reviews, support requests, or other Platform features.
2. How We Use Information

- Process and manage appointments and bookings.
- Send appointment confirmations, reminders, changes, cancellations, Ready/Arrived notifications, receipts, and other service-related communications.
- Send account and security notifications.

- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Platform.
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity.

3. SMS and Mobile Communications
If you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive SMS messages, Idle Hand and participating Business Users may send text messages related to your appointments and use of the Platform.
Transactional messages may include appointment confirmations, reminders, changes, cancellations, Ready/Arrived notifications, receipts, account notifications, and security alerts.
Marketing or promotional messages, including rebooking reminders, win-back messages, and promotional offers, will be sent only where you have provided the required separate consent.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out of marketing SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to a message. You may reply HELP for assistance.
Opting out of marketing messages does not necessarily disable transactional messages that are necessary to service an appointment or provide an account-related service.
4. SMS Consent and Mobile Information
Your consent to receive SMS messages is separate from your acceptance of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Where SMS consent is collected through a checkbox or other affirmative action, the consent mechanism will be separate and optional.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in information, or messaging consent data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile information may be disclosed to service providers that process messages or provide services on our behalf when necessary to operate the Platform, subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.

Idle Hand does not store full payment card numbers. Payment information is handled according to the applicable payment provider's terms and privacy policy.

- To Business Users where necessary to provide services, appointments, or transactions requested by users.
- When required by law, legal process, or governmental authority.
- To protect the rights, safety, security, or property of Idle Hand, our users, or others.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.
- With your consent or at your direction.
We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in/consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Platform and its services, maintain business and transaction records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect our legitimate interests.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Platform, by email, or by other reasonable means.
The updated Privacy Policy will include a new "Last Updated" date.
